Sif is a Norse goddess who is the wife of the storm-god Thor. Her name means “relation by marriage,” so it stands to reason that people would pray to her for love and a successful marriage/relationship.
Although not featuring much in mythology, she did play a large role in the creation of her husband Thor's hammer!
