$49.00 $69.00
Length:

In Norse mythology, the Midgard serpent Jörmungandr, the middle child of Loki and the giantess Angrboða, was a sea serpent who grew so large that it was able to surround the Earth and grasp its own tail.

The god Thor is his particular enemy and famously had two battles between them. In one, Thor fishes for Jörmungandr, and fails to pull him up only when the giant Hymir, terrified that this will bring about Ragnarok, severs the line, sending the snake back down to the depths.

When Ragnarok does arrive however those age-old foes, will both finally have their chance to kill the other. Thor will succeed in defeating the great serpent with the blows of his hammer. But Jormungandr will have covered him in so much venom that he will not be able to stand for much longer; he will take nine paces before falling dead himself.
